ABOUT ME
I am a MILAN-BASED Filmmaker & TECHNICAL WRITER.
I’ve always been fascinated by the technical and technological aspects of Digital Video Production. I built my learning path accordingly, expanding my skills horizontally and taking part in high-level training events. Among others, the REDucation held by RED Digital Cinema in New York City in 2019.
My business is currently divided into two areas:
Production and Education / Consulting.
PRODUCTION
I was co-founder of Outdoor Studio - We Shoot Mountain Sports and Vertigo - The Original Immersive Ski Films, two agencies specialized in the production of stills and films for outdoor and mountain companies. My role was to supervise and often take part in all stages of Video Production, from creativity to post.
This experience has allowed me to collaborate with major brands in the world of extreme and outdoor sports, such as RedBull, Nordica, and Enervit. I have also been lucky enough to work alongside nationally and internationally renowned athletes, such as Sofia Goggia, Dorothea Wierer, and Dominik Paris.
CONSULTING
Since 2019 I have been teaching the Video Technologies and "Video Editing with Adobe Premiere Pro" courses at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan. Specifically, during the Video Technologies course I help students explore the fundamental concepts and technologies that lead to the formation of digital still and moving images.
As a consultant, I write regularly for CineD - Your Digital Cinema Tech Resource, an international reference website for news concerning digital cinema equipment. I currently have 400+ technical articles to my credit.
